Tabletop fire, cast in cement

A stainless steel sleeve holds the fuel, a cork base protects the table, and a full fill burns for approximately an hour. Light it on a patio table, a mantel or a kitchen counter — indoors or out, with an eye on it.

Four shapes, and every one of them cast and finished by hand like everything else we make.

No two alike

Poured, not printed

Colour is folded into wet cement and then left alone. It finds its own course through the pour, which is why the pattern on a vessel has never existed before and cannot be repeated.

Edges are sanded by hand. The surface is then sealed to a clear gloss — which is not a finish choice so much as a working one: a gloss seal is what helps keep fragrance oil from wicking out through the cement.

Why we do it

Quality craftsmanship, made in the USA

Each vessel is made individually by hand using a proprietary blend of materials. Candles are poured in small batches with high-quality natural soy wax and scented using only clean fragrances that are phthalate-free and meet RIFM and IFRA standards for purity.

Our cedar wooden wicks are eco-friendly, give a more even burn, and produce less carbon soot than traditional cotton wicks.

Our mission

Premium products, a small footprint

Our mission is to create premium quality products made with all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients while maintaining a small footprint. We believe in harnessing the power of nature to create products that promote relaxation while keeping your wellness and the health of our planet in mind.

Whether you are looking for cozy ambiance on a chilly night or a soothing scent to help you unwind, we have something for every occasion. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have enjoyed crafting them for you.

After the last burn

The vessel outlives the flame

When the wax is gone the vessel is only beginning. Warm what remains, wipe it clean, and it becomes a vessel for jewelry, change, succulents, or any non-perishable item.

This is the quiet argument for cement. It does not wear out, and it was never meant to be thrown away.

Rencarie is a family-owned workshop in the Sierra foothills, started in 2021 in a basement at home. Cement is mixed, coloured and poured here; wax is blended and filled here; every vessel is sanded, sealed and packed by hand before it leaves.

Preset combinations ship within two to three business days. Special orders are poured when you order them — about a week for candles and melters, about three weeks for a fire pit — because cement needs time to cure and we will not rush it.
